1. Think about the final submission of your PAPER AND LIGHT OBJECT; control your design.

2. Identify the design objective: What is your project about? What’s your strategy?

3. There are lots of variables; try to simplify as much as possible (less is more).

4. Maintain an abstract point of view.

5. Folding and cutting are powerful tools.

6. All designs are supposed to be self- supporting structures, 3D geometries working structurally. Control them Are you able to explain how it works, and comunicate how they can be built?

7. Designs are supposed to work with light. Avoid crazy movements; identify fixed points and clear movements for lights.

8. Light intensity is important (watts, color, etc.).

9. Control shadows as parts of the design, rather than as consequences.

10. Paper (weight, texture, color, etc.) should be coherent with the design to support it.

--explain the design process, thinking process evolution, etc. What do I want to do and how can I do it. Sketches, sequences of photographs and a short text (300 words written in Virtual Campus)

2.b. 1 DIN A3  

--about the construction process. The construction of the idea, a technical explanation. 

--what are the components/materials/parts? -light included-, define all of them and explain their use

--why those componets/materials/parts?, reasons for the selection in order to achieve the final design. 

--assembly instructions through sketches/drawings

SUBMISSION:

1. The described 3 DIN A3 sheets following the previous instructions
2. Scan [JPG, 300DPI] and name the file: "04_FAM.NAME, NAME_1.JPG"; "04_FAM.NAME, NAME_2.JPG"; "04_FAM.NAME, NAME_3.JPG"

3. Upload the pictures separately (300ppp) - zip file with JPEGs
4. Upload these 4 things in Virtual Campus
5. Deadline: 21.11.2023 [23:59]
